Alright so the lightest bullet chat really took off. Lets hear the biggest and slowest cartridge/bullet you killed a deer with. I am sure we will have some 405 grain bullets out of a 45-70 in the mix.
240 grain .44 mag in a Ruger semiauto carbine.
Just below that, a 230 grain .45ACP to take a bobcat.
Under that, a 180 grain in .45ACP to take two deer. All pics posted on this forum.

Big and fast is still good. 378 Weatherby would be a hoot. Always though hunting Africa with a 375 H&H with an 7X57 Mauser would be fun.
I had a .30-.378 Weatherby for a short while and it was nasty to shoot, horrendous muzzle blast. Can't imagine shooting a .378 with the 300 gr bullets at almost 3000fps! They say it's the worst kicker in the Weatherby line.

The largest rifle for me is 120gr Nosler Ballistic Tip chamber in .284 Win. Hoping to change that this year with a slightly larger bullet in 28 Nosler though.

The biggest bullet was 295gr Aerotip CVA Powerbelt.
