I should have caught this a long time ago. ONG has been billing me a city sales tax. Well I don't live in a city.

"Customer Service" told me I did live in a city and the charge was applicable. After spending maybe an hour total on the phone trying to correct this issue, I found the right group to determine that in fact I don't live in a city and that sales tax does not apply to me. They sent that information to billing to make the correction.

Here's my new balance after the billing correction was made.

I haven't seen an actual statement showing the calculation to determine the amount of credit owed to me, but based on my own calculations, ONG credited me $412.08. My balance before the credit was $189 and after is $(223.08). The difference is the $412.08.

When we lived in Claremore we were being charged for a street lamp that we didn't have anywhere around our property and I didn't notice the charge for several months. Went to utility dept to dispute charge and they checked their records and claimed the street light was removed several years prior so refunded our charges.
