Anyone got any favorites to share? Include COAL if possible. And do you really need small base dies for this gun?
Other than a few for my granddaughter's Rossi Youth rifle I don't have any experience with this cartridge.
I do have a regular RCBS die set. I loaded 6 rounds for my Mini the other day, and the minimum COAL for the load I was using is too long to chamber properly. It was the starting load for Varget and a 55 grain bullet, from the Lyman #48 manual. I don't have my book with me right now, but if memory serves the suggested COAL was 2.26. I had to seat them down to 2.05 to get them to chamber. I reckon I'll pull those bullets and start over with a different powder, that doesn't fill the case as much as Varget.
