Prayers Needed for My Mother

My 84 year old mom who weighs around 85 pounds fell and broke her hip. She will be having surgery around noon today. She lives in NE Georgia. Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks. My brother told me she watched a Jerry Springer show just before they took her for her surgery. He said that has been the most alert she has been since breaking her hip last Thursday!

I wish your mother the very best and will pray for a succesful operation and a speedy recovery. My grandmother, who lived to be over 100, fell and broke her hip in her 80's. Believe it or not, though we all feared the worst, she came out of that experience healthier than ever -- mostly because she hated the recovery facility (a nursing home) and wanted out ASAP. So she listened to everything the doctor's and physical therapists said and was out in good time. May your mother have a similar experience.
