I still remember seeing jar after jar of canned squirrel in the pantry when I was a young lad.. My mother and Aunt both canned squirrels, minus the head and feet (and innards.. of course.) usually about 3 to a jar.. Also remember the sand plums and blackberrys they canned for coblers.. Yum.. I have the wife talked into canning some good stuff this season, but probably no squirrel..
