Just saw that the new gun ban will be introduced in the senate on Jan. 22nd. If we are going to get proactive then we all as a group better get going on this and starts rallies every where. How can we start this and get it going?

This should be enough:

From 1995 through 2011, the number of AR-15s–all models of which Feinstein’s new bill defines as “assault weapons”–rose by over 2.5 million. During the same period, the nation’s murder rate fell 48 percent, to a 48-year low. According to the FBI, 8.5 times as many people are murdered with knives, blunt objects and bare hands, as with rifles of any type.

We can do little rallies here and there, but they will be only covered negatively by the media.
The most important thing, IMHO, is that we all join the NRA, the GOA and 2aF, but most importantly the NRA.
Also, get at least one more person to join the NRA. The NRA works as a body to influence federal legislation and senators and congressmen are most scared of it.
Even though we have 100 million gunowners, NRA has only about 5 million members.
Imagine if that doubles or triples. No federal laws will pass that infringe on 2A anymore than the ones that already do.

I believe we should be working on more pro-gun legislation at the state level as well. States have been rejecting the federal government more than ever recently and there is no reason we can't do so in this case as well. The federal government has no jurisdiction when it comes to in state commerce. If a state can legalize marijuana, then why can't a state legalize high capacity magazines or pistol grips or anything else they want to ban on semi-automatic weapons? It's time for the states to stand up for their own rights and the rights of the citizens in those states.
