Public Land

I have a very small area of private property to hunt and have not seen many deer. I would like to try and at least get a doe with my bow before the end of archery season. If anybody has any suggestions on where I should go (public or private) I would love to hear them. Thanks!

Try Kaw up north. Great place to hunt.

Thunderbird has a ton of public land and tons of deer. You need a free parking pass and a map of the areas. Let me look at a map and ill give you some spots

Try 84th and tecumseh. Go in head south to river. Great area

rock creek and 84th. Good area easy access

lindsay and 120th. Go north or south and you will be in a good area.

Yeah those are spots i hit when i go out to tbird. Stop by the lake office on alameda past the bridge and pick up a hunting area map. Or pm me your email and ill send you a map i scanned last year. You will need a parking pass that is free from the office.

Yeah TBird is not bad and its close. I have arrowed some doe from there, I even saw a decent buck.
