I have a set of Steyr OEM scope rings that someone ruined the screws with the wrong type of screw driver. So, I ordered some new socket head screws to replace the damaged screws. The problem is the socket head screws were too big around to fit down into the scope rings. So, I made a holder and turned the o.d. of the heads down with the new lathe enough to fit into the rings.
