Red dot question

I know nothing about them, but lots of folks seem to like them, so....







I ordered a 9mm just to use to play around at the range and want to mount a red dot sight. My 80 yr old eyes are still very good with iron sights but I thought I would see what the fuss was about.







I shoot frequently and my initial thoughts are either a Holosun 407 or 507.







Appreciate any thoughts on this

What 9mm did you get? Is it factory optic cut or would it have to be milled? That's the first step, seeing what's compatible. Carready on here is a holosun dealer so check with him before you order one online

I just got FNX45 Tactcal that had a Vortex viper mounted on it, I removed and put a Sig Romeo 1 on it and really like it. The Sig had the same footprint as the Vortex or Redfield site. Romeo 1 marked down on SigSauer website to 199

I ordered a SIG P365 X MACRO (LE version). My carry gun is a P365 X with manual safety. This will be for range play only.

I'm fond of the Swamp Fox Sentinel I have, it just seems better built than the Holosuns I have seen.
