Remington 1740

Ok I know someone here has built one by now if not I know someone other than me wants to... just seems like to much fun to pass up. what do you guys think???

I mean who wouldnt want a double barrel pump action shotgun... these need a little more refining but still look fun as all get out.

If I remember correctly, during WW1 before they figured out how to mount machineguns on planes without shooting off the props, the Germans issued pilots a double barrel pump action shotgun. I think it only held two more rounds but that idea coupled with box magazines would make a fun gun. I will have to see if I can find the info on it online.

Am I the only one who thinks that looks dumb?

Since the definition of FA (basically) is one round per one trigger pull, since there are two triggers does that make 2 rounds at a time legit? Otherwise this would be subject to FA taxes and regulations and that takes any fun there might be out of it for me.

If those 10/22 hand crank "Gatling gun" kits are considered legal, I don't see why this wouldn't. That would definitely clear a hall way!!

Would be the same as popping both triggers on a coach Gun at the same time, your pulling 2 triggers and getting 2 rounds

This is still technically shooting one projectile per one trigger pull which makes it not FA.

That's why I'd think the 1740 idea would fall under the same category. And, it's like cal7.62 said.
