Here's the newest beast. Found it almost by accident on Gunbroker and couldn't resist the BIN price.

Smith 29-4, 3" full-lug, unfluted cylinder, Pachmayr grips from factory, target hammer\trigger, 2532 manufactured on the round butt N frame in 1989

Probably substantial! Actually I just got it and haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet so it is yet to be determined. The porting should help though.
