Levon Helm was the real talent in that band

Before they were The Band, they were The Hawks. I believe they changed their name around the time that they started backing up Dylan on several of his electric albums. I always enjoyed Robbie Robertson. May he Rest In Peace. Another legend has left us.

Levon Helm was the real talent in that band

Yeah, I think Levon would have been the real talent in any band he played in.

There was a really good documentary on the Band, I'm thinking it was You Tube, but could have been Prime
