SandRidge Energy. .Okc

Hey All,

I've been hearing through the grape vine that SandRidge Energy is having.....shall we say...difficulties.

Looked at their stock just a few minutes ago, .54cents....two quarters and four pennies.


Wow...much lower and wouldn't it be considered penny stock??

What's the scoop???

I have, but as with any other stock, not more than I can afford to loose.

I've heard rumors of a reverse stock split. Not good news. I had faith in Tom Ward, but I feel the end is near.

I have my eye on a few but SD isn't one of them. Don't expect quick results, but stuff is super cheap right now and could get a bit cheaper before reversing course. This week has been brutal.

I wouldn't put money in Sandridge.

About $250mm in market cap and about $3.4b in debt. I would expect bankruptcy within 2 months. I wouldn't risk my money on a possible turnaround.

Keep an eye on oil prices there may be a brief jump next week due to expiring commodity contracts. This may be a short term boost for SD.

I don't buy individuals, but as oil keeps dropping I keep moving more into it.

That said, Sandridge is prime for a takeover. And with the oil and gas market where it is now, expect a lot of consolidation.
