SF couple gets $1,500 fine for parking in their driveway despite doing so for nearly 40 years

So fing stupid, can't park in their own driveway. If they put a covered car port over the driveway all is A ok, but with out it they will be fined.
Years ago I had the same kind of thing happen.
Had to get lawyer involved threatening to sue.
The guy across the street was buying up the neighborhood and wanted my place.
So he got his nephew the code enforcement guy to write up any little infraction he could find, hoping to make me want to sell.
Well, I'm still here 30 years later and that guy was crooked and lost his properties back to the banks.
The nephew got fired from the city.

The neighbors probably are more progressive liberal Democrats
No sympathy. If you are still living in San Francisco at this point there is no hope for you. If you sit at the devil's table than you get to eat what he is serving.
There's an update. It turns out that common sense isn't completely dead in San Fran.
