It makes me wonder about the efficiency of the screening protocols used for hiring *security* guards. You know, the ones empowered to carry a firearm in the line of duty.

Or are casino security guards not allowed to pack heat?

The tribes in our area do and I'm glad they do.
I have great confidence in their due diligence in hiring. Most are former LEO's

If you're just a general nutball and haven't run afoul of the law, no background check in the world short of the kind the FBI/Secret Service do interviewing all your friends and family individually, multiple times and in-depth, is going to reveal anything.

The only casino I know about, security had to be CLEET certified to carry. There were only two or three that did.
