So she stuck heading to mobile al. Can not talk to her, and wait for the cruise line to call with updates sucks. They keep changing the plan everyday now they are not due in till Thursday? The they have to flights for 3100 people so there is no telling when they get home.

That really stinks!!!! They should be held liable for more than just the refunds and comp tickets.
Not the first time this has happened, they should have a better contingency plan for backup systems.

Maybe due to the sheer size of the company? IIRC, Carnival is the largest operator in the business so they have more boats in the water...I think almost twice as many boats as the closest competitor. Twice the boats, twice the trouble...and visibility.
