I actually had one the other night who showed up after dark, and said...and I quote, "Hello sir, I know it's dark and so am I, but I just wanted to ask if you'd like to buy some..." (I think candles). She made me laugh, but I told her it really wasn't a good idea to be going to people's doors around here after dark. Since she cracked me up, the M&P stayed behind the back. I did let the dog back her up enough to check around the corners of my porch. I'm always careful of that tactic because of the way my house is laid out.
