That's kinda what I was thinking. I noticed the octagon barrel on one and the round barrel on the other. I have a thing for the Navy and for some reason have never owned an Army. I'll have to fix that one of these days!

Sure do! Being that it is a Uberti replica, it gets fired. It is one of my favorite guns. It is similar to firing a .38 S&W round. At one time I had 2 Pietta Paterson replicas along with this Uberti. I sold the Piettas though since they were no where near as nice as the Uberti.
After firing the Paterson a little, one can see its shortcomings and when Colt began making firearms again in 1847, his designs had greatly improved. One of the biggest problems with the early Patersons was the squared-off cylinder since normally the caps will come apart and get trapped between the cylinder and the frame.
