You might check with the OSBI.

The OSBI site is usually out of date, like it's been for months now. That has been the pattern for years. It does not show that Nebraska recognizes OK permits. Nebraska DOES recognize OK permits.

"A list of the states determined by the Nebraska Attorney General to have standards equal to or greater than the standards contained in Nebraska Statue is below. These states CCW permits Will Be recognized by the State of Nebraska.

Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota (class one permit), Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode-Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Wyoming and the District of Columbia."

Source for above: http://www.nsp.state.ne.us/FindFile.asp?ID2=256

The best bet I've found is http://www.handgunlaw.us/ It is hot linked to take you to official state information. That's the best source I know. Always do your own research and do it frequently.

One can be severely inconvenienced by carrying into a state that has removed it's recognition of another state's permit. The excuse that the OSBI website said it was okay probably won't fly in the foreign state.

This.
Most states are the best source for who they honor, but mostly lousy at telling you who honors theirs.

I alway check the summaries on Handgunlaw.us, and then link from there to the official state site of the state I am going to visit.

You also need to read the laws of the state you are visitng for any differences in the carry rules. The host state does not care how we do it in OK.
