Why was the lame stream media so giddy when Wuhan reported 0 new cases when they actually quit testing?

The U.S. will now be reported again and again by our news media as the "epicenter" of the pandemic.

Meanwhile sources in China say there were more urns delivered to funeral homes than the number of deaths officially reported:

The politics behind this virus is beyond belief. Just today Upchuck todd on the Sunday morning show tried to goad Biden during an interview into saying Trump had blood on his hands because of his slow response to the virus.
Biden didn't take the bait to his credit.
I find that odd because both Biden and upchuck todd called Trump a Xenophobic when he instituted the travel ban on China way back in January saying it wasn't necessary, racists, and blah blah.
The country has came together for the most part to fight this virus, and the dimocrat media is doing their best to rip that bond apart. Shame on them.
My wife is non political, but watching the Sunday morning liberal news shows, she even commented that every word out of their mouths was how to tie Trump into a failure of some sort. Switching over to FOX news, there was nothing but information about what's being done, private companies that have ditched their product lines to make masks, face shields, etc and selling them at cost just to get them out there.
Positive news was being given about successes and new developments, without any political bias for the most part.
