I'm trying to find a MOLLE compatible holster/ sheath for my Surefire Z2-S combat light, but so far I'm coming up with nothing. Anyone have suggestions?
Call Surefire and ask them. They've always been real helpful to me and LE/Mil get discount I believe.
The only holster my old catolog is showing is the V70.
Can you run a short molle strap through the pouch loop sideways?
Light pouch would possibly have to be mounted horizontally.

That appears to better quality for a few more dollars. Looks like it should work just fine.
You need the Surefire V85A.
The belt loop is similar to a Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, but it is narrower so it should fit in a 2 channel PALS webbing. It's made to fit up to a 2.25" wide duty belt but it also adjusts to smaller, so you can cinch it up on the 2 channels of PALS webbing. It turns 180 degrees, so you can mount it and turn it any direction you want.

That is a badazz holster but i'm not sure it holds the Z2.

The Surefire V85A was MADE for the Z2.
Well...sorta.
The V85 concept was actually designed around the Surefire G3 flashlight. But the V85A was re-designed and the holster body machined lower for the Z2 "Combat Light" as well as other 1.25" bezels such as the 6P and G2. Even the newer models, the 6PX and the G2X with their enlarged looking bezels will fit this holster.
It even has an area for spare batteries that load similar to a M4 magazine.
I think you'll really like it.
