Just wondering if anyone has been yet and if the trees are changing colors?

For those that live close, if you would keep us updated on the scenery!

Should be getting close, but the exact days would be hard to determine. Here near Newcastle/Norman some of the trees are just turning, but none of them are anything spectacular. Talimena might be a bit later, being it is a bit further south and east. Pure speculation on my part.

They're bound to be. Even the trees around Lawton are popping yellows, orange, and reds this early. It's about two weeks ahead of normal.

Headed to Lake Wister State Park tomorrow - friends were in the Broken Bow area last week and said they think this should be a prime weekend. The maple in my front yard is turning very nicely so that just means a windy rain storm is coming to blow all the leaves off the tree.
