The Buses and vans are already arriving. there was 5 big white vans full from St.Louis at Wendy's
A worker said they had been there since 9 singing and chanting.

The morons at CDC say Gun Ownership is a disease so I guess you better go turn yours in. See the light and be cured.

I’d question the Wendy’s story unless they are there to burn it down. Anti Trumpers hate Wendy’s. I hope Tulsa PD has plenty of job applications to pass out since so many experts will be in town that know how cops should do their jobs. CDC along with all the other so called experts have changed their minds on masks and other precautions too many times for me to accept anything they say. I think it’s a waste of time for Trump to come to OK when all 77 counties will be red on election night anyway.

He is doing it for the national coverage, not for the Oklahoma crowd. He gets off having people cheer him when he makes fun of the media and the democrats (Antifa, BLM, all of the above). He won't say anything worth listening too but it's kind of like a pep really in high school for the football game. No one will change their mind or decide who to vote for because of this rally. I'm sure he hopes some Antifa or BLM thugs get a good beat down at some point in the day.

No, what matters is the number of hospitalizations and the number of available hospital beds. Governor says there are plenty of beds available in Oklahoma.

So why is that “what matters” as the governor says. He’s not some gifted for aster in this whole thing. Hey I for one think he’s trying to find himself into a Trump cabinet position. He’s riding this horse as long as it will run

There's going to be thousands of viewers watching this evening that aren't the base, just to see if anything goes down, whether inside or out on the streets.

The problem is that staying away isn't enough....all of those people will leave the rally and spread out. Back to homes, work, leisure, and other contacts. It's just plain dumb to be having a massive indoor gathering like this so soon after entering Phase 3, when indicators are trending significantly up.
Yeppers to the above statement. Think about the spread numbers if only 25% of all these visitors unknowingly leave with it. Smart no I don’t think so

I get that but we now know that the vast majority of people who get COVID don't even require hospitalization and some don't even get sick at all. With that knowledge I have the opinion that we screwed ourselves by shutting everything down. I'm not saying the COVID thing is a farce like some, it's obviously not. And I also can understand the initial reaction of fearing it so much since it was new, but hindsight shows what it usually does.

I also can concede pstmstr's point that it's not really needed here at all. Though I do appreciate Trump coming here, a state that is more in play would be a better choice perhaps Texas, Florida or a key midwestern state to kick things off? Since the media will undoubtedly take our COVID spike and place it squarely on Trump's shoulders and ignore the fact that it started before. Oh wait...They'll hit him with that too as they already are. Silly me. But my point is that I think in the grand scheme of things, if he wants to hold it here we should let him and be gracious about it. The COVID "risk" while not zero just isn't worth the alternative. IMO.

We don't want him here in Texas. We have a spike in Chinese virus cases since we opened up and don't want any indoor rallies to increase the cases !

He just tweeted he has spoken to Tulsa Mayor and there is no curfew for those planning to attend the rally.

So, Antifa/ BLM people have to leave but not the MAGA people ?

Seems like we've been through this routine before and it didn't work out so well in about 50 other cities.
