Mossberg 500s with 20 inch barrels and mag extensions are sold out everywhere online, everywhere I shop at anyway. Anyone know of a place to get them? I plan on picking one up with tax refund monies. Pic related:

I might just get a 590 for an extra $100.

I'd go with the 590. I'd love to have one, and also a 930spx. I just like the shorter, 18.5" barrel, though. It's one reason I like my Winchester 1300 Defender; full length tube, 18.5" barrel. They don't have the rep of the Mossbergs or Remingtons, but it seems fairly well built. Wish they made an 18.5" 590a1 with the full-length mag.

870 Express for tactical home defense - and fun
Model 50 (1954 classic auto) that was my mother-in-law's - for fun too, and appreciation

Plus given today's ammo market and hoarding the cheapest bang for the buck

Gotta love a good shotgun. I like tactical but prefer practical. I have a Mossberg 635 bolt action slug gun that can serve both purposes. It has a 22 inch ported barrel, set up with an EGW picatinny rail with a fixed 4X scope, but in quick detach rings so i can swap it out for a red dot at a moments notice. The gun is capable of putting slugs in the 8 ring consistently at 200 yards. There's something to be said about a round than can knock down large game or a assailant wearing body armor with a single shot.
