Before Christmas three "youths" were caught stealing. A chase ensued and TPD backed off because the crime didn't warrant a high speed death. "Youths" crash car near 51st and Memorial, are seen and identified, one with a gun.

TPD arrest all three, call MCN, get told to give them back to their parents. Which they had to do, by law.

The TPD guy they interviewed was astounded, but the "law is the law".

Yet another reason TPD should resign the cross deputation agreement.

Because TPD are the ones present in Tulsa.

It's a ridiculous situation. It'll take some representatives with guts (lol) to revoke the "reservation" status of the areas in the state. Cherokee and MCN are using that "reservation" language frequently to help indoctrinate readers and listeners, when it has not been a reservation since statehood.

IMHO the problem is all these "special demographics" are not required to obey the law of the land because they have been taught that their "people" were exploited by the white man in the past so "we" can do as "we" want. Rather than work to improve the situation they work to show how black or red or brown they are.......

Don’t think it’s about stereo type, it’s about special treatment just because of skin color… ie racism almost by definition.

Stereotyping or profiling is the application of statistical analysis. If enough data points define a specific action, profile, characteristic etc..etc.. then you have a specific stereotype or profile.

I'm gonna steal that. My buddy said "statistics enthusiast", I use that a lot too.

When our buddy was in the city the other night, he wondered which areas of town were safe. Someone Googled up a demographics map, as if that were some kind of indicator of crime statistics.

The tribal vs State thing is getting pretty entertaining I must say. My wife and I are both tribal citizens, although she's Brown and I'm White. (which in itself indicates how unrealistic the system is)

I'm of the mind that the two entities cannot exist together.

Well it could be important to know the demographics map. You’re gonna have a different destination depending on whether you’re looking for crack, meth or fentanyl.
