Ruger American target. It doesn’t get much quieter and accurate than this.

All 3 of my 22 rifles are bolt action.
Shoot 22 shorts or sub sonic out of them & they are very quiet. Don't even need a suppressor when they are that quiet.

Run some CCI Quiet rounds through a bolt rifle and suppressor and all you hear is the click of the hammer when it falls. First time I tried it, I would have sworn the bullet didn’t exit the barrel or it was a dud.

No kidding. We had a suppressor/optics day at our range two years ago when a factory team came through. The .22 bolt action was a click and a dink when the bullet hit the steel at 25 yards.

I silenced my 10/22 and though I didn't test all subsonic ammo,it seemed to me that Remington subsonics were a little more powerful and cycled. Since then I installed a few titanium pieces, recoil spring, and a modified bolt, it will cycle all subsonics now. Just for kicks, you can hold the bolt closed with your thumb if you want a silent single shot.

I bought my son a CZ 452 scout. If I were to do it again I would have purchased this. CZ combo Now that I look at it I may buy one just because I "need" it. Suppressors are awesome!
