Very cool indeed. I know a few dog trainers and work with a couple of them. They use positive reinforcement to work "with" them which is really bond making and those dogs equally rely on their trainers/owners for every move. It's fascinating. And the silly dogs work for a ball! Literally. If they get it right (whatever they're training), they get to chase the ball. How simple.

In my time in SE Asia, we had dobermans. Every day, we could see the NVA carrying mortar tubes and ammo into a wooded area. Asking for permission to take action, we were always denied, as intel said no problem.
After the third night of mortars, they "accidentally" let the dobbies loose.
Blood on the muzzles. No more mortars....
