This is a PITA. Tire shops might take them for $3 per or whatever that fee is they charge when you buy new tires - even if you take the old ones. Good luck, I've been weed eating around 3 in my back yard for a while now..
Go find an old trailer park - they'd probably take them to put on their roofs!

Tire shops will usually charge a recycling fee, but it’s pretty nominal. The MET in Tulsa has recycling events a couple times per year and often accepts tires for recycling for free, the limit is usually 10 tires per customer.
