I dont think i'll ever purchase a house along I-44, turner turnpike. It seems every storm has to stop and pay the tolls as well!!!!
Some crazy stuff down in Ardmore. I have some family driving down I-35 from OKC, I hope they're ok. I can't get ahold of them, been calling absolutely nonstop.
Headed for us in Vinita, at the moment. The wife and kids and I have the storm shelter stocked and ready if the need arises.
My family's ok... wish their roof and windshields could say the same!
Just got off the phone with one of my fishing buddies becasue the local weather station was reporting a confirmed large tornado on the ground in the Tushka/Atoka area. He has family and friends up that way and he'd just got off the phone with one of his friends in Tushka. His friend just had his house destroyed by the tornado as well as his truck and his dad's truck. Also said that it hit the school in Tushka.
Good to hear no injuries, yet. TV weather guys said Tushka was in trouble. It ain't over yet, I fear.
My gosh ... what's a girl gotta do to get a little rain?? We didn't get so much as a drop ...
They are saying theres a possible fatality, but it as of yet unconfirmed.
