took a ten year old to a turkey shoot

We had a blast! Although he didn't win a turkey, we all had a lot of fun, and he got to watch his big brother(my oldest son) win three in the wolf chase (skeet game). Only spent $45, momma couldn't understand that, but to see him have so much fun away from the video games and tv was worth 1000 times that. Not to mention he learned a lot about the shooting sports and I got to spend some good time with two fine young men. BTW, the shoot was a fundraiser for Olive FFA and 4H, and they are doing it again Dec. 5 just west of highway 48 on highway 33. Try to make it if you can, and bring a kid.

Like you said, there are lots of things to do besides watch TV and play video games.
