Glad to hear your getting some resolution. Casino's don't mess around when it comes to ANYTHING being stolen.

Another ticket scam happened to a buddy of mine when he was in Houston and bought some Rocket tickets.

A thief steals a credit card and buys a bunch of premium high end tickets to the game. The thief then sells thousands of dollars of expensive tickets, and pockets the cash. So even if the credit card companies are quick to catch the stolen transaction, it might take days before the they notify the ticket office and even then it might take the ticket office a few days to cancel the ticket. So the thieves have a nice window to sell tickets.

I've sold tickets I couldn't use in the past and just like the private purchase of a firearm i'll tell you to go get bent if you want to keep a copy of my ID. I'll give my **** away before I let you take a picture of my license, and I'll tell you point blank to your face you're a dick for wasting my time. if you try that **** at the last minute.

If it seems too good to be true expect it to be so.

And if that is the case I simply would not need the tickets bad enough to go. But if I don't know you and hand cash over I plan to know how to get it back in a situation like this not that I GARA anyway.

I was able to use the email address he replied from on the Craigslist ad to track down his Facebook page. His Facebook page was private though so I set up a fake Facebook account using a girls name and a hot picture then sent him a friend request. He accepted and then I had all his info, employer etc. Once I started texting him that I knew his name, employer etc he started back pedaling and called me saying he didn't know they were stolen etc. He still doesn't know how I found him. :)

I want a hot chick friend on facebook. Please share details. Lmao

Seriously, I met you for a FTF at Best Buy and I am glad things look to be working out for you. Hopefully Lucky Star will give your family lower level seats to a good game!

Gotta love Facebook. People are so dumb! I always get tag numbers on transactions like that. You can easily get all the info you need from them. Sounds like its all going to work out. I'd would turn the guy in to the police and hopefully something will happen to him over it.

Very cool. If I ever do a deal through armslist I always search for
FB, linked in, google search the cellphone number while I'm there on the computer. It's amazing what you can find by googling someone. I'll have to remember the fake account thing if I get stiffed on something.
