I had the same problem. I sat out on the picnic table with my 22 caliber air rifle and sent 2 to coonvile heaven.
Our bird feeder container has a lid with a 10 lb rock on it right outside the front window. When I heard the rock hit the concrete, I slipped out the back door with the spot light and the other two heard me or saw me moving in the house and all I had was some running shots with the .22 pistol. Didn't shoot. The trap with get them all eventually. The food source will keep them coming back.
