Went to the Blue River for the 1st time on the 30th. Made a family trip out of it taking my dad, brother-in-law and nephew. Being bass fisherman it took us a little while to get the hang of it but we had a great day. Bet I lost over a dozen fish before I realized that "horsing" them wasn't going to work. Also realized that if you really want to fish the blue right, you better have waders. My dad and I had tall wading boots so we were good but the others had trouble getting to the best fishing holes. Ended up with a nice ice chest of fish by the end of the day and made a great day out of it. Can't wait to put them in the smoker.
