Flu will kill 50,000 Americans this Winter and won't get a thread.

More like 3,000. The problem isn't the gross number. What makes Ebola scary is the chance of dying is so high. Chance of dying from flu is .0005%, Ebola is 50%. Since we live in a country where medicine doesn't involve sprinkling chicken blood on ox dung, I'd say in the U.S. you would have an 80% shot at pulling through. That's a wag though.
