Persistence finally paid off. I went prepared this evening for both turkey and hogs. Didn’t see any hogs, but I finally got the bird that has been eluding me for a couple of weeks. He’s no trophy long beard, but I worked hard for this one.

Congratulations, that’s a good looking bird! Is your shotgun the Franchi Intensity? If so, how do you like it?

I love it, I've had it about 7 years now. Not a problem at all, I used to be a 870 guy until I bought a new one 10 years ago and it was the biggest pos. Shells would get stuck in the chamber after shooting...
So I got the Franchi and have never been happier!

Let’s keep this info about your 870 problems in the hunting section where most of the members don’t visit, because there’s some folks on here that will ask you to leave the board for disrespecting the supposed greatest personal defense shotgun ever made.

Yes Sir I finally got it to work a little better by reaming out the chamber with steel wool and aerokroil! I think I saw the recommended fix on Osa!! Youth model is 26 years old and never had a issue. Turkey special is the one that had the problem.
