And Pelosi told him he did not need to resign! Well, if it was a Republican, they would be calling for his "head". Just what I have observed over many years.

Pelosi knows that the people are use to it, plus she knows that the media will do its best to make light of it, and make it go away. Before you know it, Weiner will be on t.v. calling for someone's head and Chris Mathews will be cheering him on.

I think you guys are being too hard on Weiner. All things considered, this news is just not that impotent, and it's a bit of a stretch to mark his political performance as flaccid based on such a cock-and-bull story. I'm really just not convinced he gave anyone the shaft.

What surprised me was how terrible he was at lying about it. You'd think all that lying he does to constituents would've prepared him a little better.
