Rick, I won't ask your medical situation so-as not to intrude, but I know a lot of the endurance athletes and mountain climbers swear by chlorophyll to increase ability to carry Oxygen. You can get it at a health food store; I think that is why some people drink wheat grass juice too. I've heard before that if Lance Armstrong had just used chlorophyll instead, then he would not have gotten in trouble since the reason he took low-dose testosterone was to increase O2 in his muscles.

Also, don't forget the recent story in England of Viagra saving the life of a vented covid patient. They idea is that it increases Nitric Oxide levels and dilated the capillaries to allow more O2 to reach tissues. Beet juice supposedly does the same thing. Sam's club used to sell a rather delicious beet juice powdered drink supplement. Lots of athletes also drink beet juice for the same reason as chlorophyll.

Finally, I seem to recall an account of a guy who had COPD and used a supplement called Cellfood that supposedly raises O2 levels for while and it worked for him.

Best wishes brother with whatever you are dealing with; people here love you man.
I might just try the chlorophyll first chance I get. Not sure about the Viagra but I can sort of see that working since it is designed to open blood vessels to increase flow, it might work for O2 too. Beets in any form make me gag so that one is out, but thanks for the info.

I am not sure if people love me or are just afraid I might have a dead man style switch set to load the largest collection of eye bleach known to mankind. Like I would really do that to my buddies. :rubhands::P :P :P

Oh I will talk to my doc, and also research it myself. Several times now I have stopped taking a drug because of side effects and had the doctor tell me, that is not a side effect of this drug. They look it up, Oh wait, it is. Last new pill my doc wanted me to take was a blood thinner. I started taking it, got dizzy and fell twice as much as I normally fall. Doc says "The drug will not do that, oh wait, it can cause fainting and knowing your weird reactions to drugs, it just might make you dizzy and cause you to fall."

That sounds a lot like my experience with side effects.

Yep it happens to a lot of people and that is one reason so many people do not take their meds. They should look up the side effects and talk to their doc, but most do not. They just stop taking the drug. In may case we decided on a baby aspirin instead.

Are the batteries proprietary?
The supplement beets in powder form are not bad tasting. I use to use them and thought it helped during workouts. Of course consult your Dr.

L-Arginine also does that, can get it at Walmart. I take it daily.

Okay, well I can tell you I don't like beets either but many of the beet supplements on the market taste like Hawaiian punch and nothing like beets. The one from sams club was really good I thought. Not sure if they still sell it or not. Good luck!

Yeah I was aware of that one too but didn't mention it because it promotes viral replication. It lowers blood pressure, but can initiate shingles, cold sores, etc. But in his situation, he needs a full spectrum of option so probably good thing to mention as well!
