I just picked this up for $150, what do you guys think? It shoots great, has minor pitting on the reciever, the blueing is pretty much gone, the furniture is pretty decent. According to the serial, it is a 1951 (173xxxx). I just wanted it to have a nice little hunting rifle, but it's a pre-64 so there should be some good value in it. model 94 1.jpgmodel 94 2.jpg

I kinda figured the low to mid 400 range would be a good value for it. It shoots great, just worn from lots of use. It is noce and tight, no rattles, the lever is smooth and tight, it doesn't flop around.

I had an older 94 in 30-30 about twenty five years ago and I think I paid around $125 for it. They've definitely gone up in value since then so I think most any of us would have jumped on your 94 at the price you paid for it. I know I would have!
