High in the Rockies...now
There's some areas in Montana that hold freakish big mule deer but it's $550 now for a non-resident tag up there and their herds have been suffering the last couple of years. Still some monsters, just going to be some tough, frustrating hunting.

Just for giggles I looked up some outfitters in Utah and Mexico to see what it would cost to hunt a Giant mule deer.....all I can say is wow....beyond my means.

$12, 500 - $15, 500 for a mule deer
$55,500 for a desert big horn sheep , I did find one outfitter in Sonora Mule deer for $6000, I knew it was expensive, I guess I just hadn't looked in awhile. Looks like I will just have to keep hunting whitetails in Oklahoma.

I can probably find you a desert horned goat down by Altus for $1000.
