Was reading an article about a traffic stop where a felon was arrested for possession of guns and ammo.
This pic was included in the article.
What in tarnation is that weird looking pistol???

Looks like some kind of Ruger. Also looks like it has M1 Carbine sights.

Looks a little like something a friend use to make way back in the day. Only things different is his "receiver" was made from round tubing and there was no identifying markings on them.

God that was a long time ago. He is dead now. Died in prison on other charges.

To me it looks like a ramset nail gun or the like. Charging handle is on the wrong side for a pistol.

Charging handle wrong side is wrong . I have Masterpiece Arms & XTAR that charging handle is on left side of receiver.
