Guy from my church cut some wheat on Tuesday, small acreage, I think it was a 20 to 22 acre patch, & netted 35 bushels an acre. He was pleased with those results, & hopes the rest of his wheat produces the same.
He did loose about 60 acres to flood waters though.

That's really good to hear. Really great numbers. Tell them to be careful out there. I've seen a lot of farm accidents during harvest. Some were deadly. Think before you do.

That sucks for sure. My combine had the tires reversed. They would slip going into slick spots and then have traction to back out, but your situation looks like a drop-into-the-hole issue.
No way out but a pull.
With the storms tonight, I'm betting a lot of late night harvesting.

We had an IH with rice tires at one time, I don't think it would have mattered much this time as I wasn't driving in mud, there's not any tracks up to where the bottom fell out. I know at one time yesterday there were 4 combine stuck in west central Grant county. There's one in the hills sw of Nash that's been buried for 3 days lol.

When you say reversed, are my tires not getting max traction in reverse now?
