The Walmart brand corn chips are half the price. I use them in my chili and don’t think they are as oily.

We made it with Takis a couple of times when we didn't have Fritos. It was pretty good.

If you need a slightly healthier version try fritos salad. Basically the same but different. Take the fritos on the plate put the chili (we do with beans) on top cover with shredded lettuce, cheese, sour cream, salsa or taco sauce, black olives and ranch dressing.

Try the newish Fritos jalapeño in chili or frito chili pie. Pretty tasty!
I know that contradicts my last post but the jalapeño is on another level.

Frito chili pie from Coney Island on Main Street downtown. Good and greasy.
