It looks like the wind is going to really screw me up on opening weekend. My best spots can't support an east wind and that looks like what we are going to get for the first several days of season, up until Friday. What the heck? We never have east winds but we do on opening weekend.

I have a couple of back up spots that I can use, just not my ideal spot I have been wanting to use for weeks. Oh well, I will be there anyway and hopefully get a wind change in the forecast before then.

This going to impact anyone else?

An east wind will definitely impact the ground blind I was planning to hunt from on Saturday morning. So now I'm debating on whether even go. I do have another spot I can hunt from but it might also cause some issues for that stand. My only real other option would be to hunt out of an elevated blind further away from the feeder to catch them on the way to it.

Hmmmmmm.
