I've been wanting to load up some Hornady SUB-X bullets in 30-30 or .303 Brit. I'll be watching this thread to see what you guys are doing.

Sub-X bullets don't like to expand very much. There are better options like Lehigh and Maker.

One thing that you'll need to pay attention to is twist rate/barrel length.

They claim to expand well subsonic. I'm willing to try whatever works. I'm not concerned with price as they will be for hunting. They just need to tear a fatal hole in a coyote at 85 yards without waking the neighbors.

Are you running a suppressor?
If yes first shoot the loads without it and make darn sure the bullets cut a clean circular hole in the paper NOT a key hole shape.
Even sub sonic down to 664 fps cracks like a 22 rifle without a suppressor.
Which makes me think a .22 rifle. etc etc.
