Hey All,

Well, yesterday, I was all but ready to buy a new Nissan Juke. I wanted to call my insurance company to get an idea how much it will jump up on a new vehicle.

My wife kept pleading for me to call and see if we can get a better deal than GEICO. So I call a few and WOW...something is totally wrong...no way!! With full coverage, uninsured, roadside assistance..blah,blah,...exact same as GEICO...they save me $50 a month, $600 a year.

I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night..so, does anyone have and/or use ESURANCE??

Pro's/Con's?? Good,Bad,Otherwise?? Believe it or not, my wife and I are excellent drivers...her only one ticket ever and myself only one accident,no tickets.

Use them or move on?? Things to watch for with this company? Yes, I've read the reviews..apples-to-oranges...depends on who's review you're reading. That's why I'm asking here...real people, real issues.

Thanks!!

Go Texans....please Lord bless the Pygmies in New Guinea and may the Texans beat the Seahawks! I need to re-coup my losses from last week.

For the short time that I had Geico, I found out that many companies were cheaper. For us, AAA was MUCH cheaper than anyone else locally, especially if you bundled it with your house.

The only way to know how good an insurance co is is to file a claim. Even then two different claims can be handled differently by the same ins co.

Esurance can cut some costs because it's online only. IMO, I'd rather have a local agent for service and to help you with any issues as opposed to calling an 800 number for everything. Check Allstate, Farmer's, State Farm and Liberty Mutual. Don't bother with Progressive.

I've called geico a few times for quotes in the past and they were always higher than most the others. I had progressive for years but they jacked me around and now I have state farm, so far so good with them and their quote was a decent chunk cheaper than progressive. Maybe its about time to get a couple quotes again to see who has the better deal.
