Another snake id please

There are zero poisonous snakes in the USofA. There are venomous snakes though.

Your right there is a difference between venomous and poisonous, the means of delivery. But seeing how I'm okie though and though their poisonous and I think everyone understands what I was talking about. But thanks there mister professor for clearing it all up for us.

Not really a snake fan but learned soon after moving to our current home that I like them around. Twenty acres next to us is not used and a breeding ground for lots of rodents. I've seen a lot of rat snakes and several King snakes. Haven't seen a single venomous snake in 16 years. Unfortunately my neighbors put in a hen house and the snakes must prefer a buffet to a hunt. Haven't seen anything but a few small grass snakes in the last year.

I killed a baby copperhead on my sidewalk just outside the front door last night. Second in as many weeks.

Which was why both of them died. We live in town (just barely), and there are neighbors with kids, and we have family and friends over with kids.

Milk snake in the first Pic..close relative to the King snake....Both good eats lots of bad stuff Especially the King, they will even eat other bad snakes like coperheads
