Is there any kind of actual season for boar hunting in Oklahoma? This weekend, I was out in the Kaw wildlife area and came across a boar while walking into the area. Later that night, I was driving to a camp to bed down for the night and had to stop on the road because a boar that stood as tall as a great dane was standing in the middle of the road. He looked at my truck, snorted and casually walk off the road and into the woods. Can I legally shoot one of these once they are off the road and in the woods during regular shooting hours? Thanks.

Season is open year round although you must be in possession of the proper license and tags (ie deer) if it is during another open season.
I have a lifetime hunting/fishing license. I would assume this would be all I need for it then.
