Shield or Pocket Gun

I used to pocket carry my Shield in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster, but I recently got my Ruger LCR in .38 Special back.

I don't know why, but it pocket carries much better.

I carry it in a Safariland model 25 pocket holster with a Bianchi Speed Strip in my left pocket.

You won't be disappointed with the LCR. Once you replace the black front sight with a fiberoptic or XS tritium front sight, that is. The black front sight that they leave the factory wearing ain't worth a damn! But slap an F/O or XS on it, and you'll be golden.

I always used to struggle on the range with the mighty J frame during re-quals, shooting in the low to mid 70s at best. But the very first time I shot the LCR on the range, I qualified with an 88%.

It'll make you wanna throw rocks at them Smith & Wesson J frames. :finger:
