I think everyone understands what cigarettes do to them and if they still choose to smoke that is their decision. I kicked the habit because my wife wanted me too but others may not care to do so. I understand that healthcare for smokers costs more than non-smokers and that they will die earlier but posting pictures of lungs and other crap isn't going to make them suddenly realize what's happening to them.
They should put a little scratch and sniff smell of buzzard puke death on a pack of cigarettes. That ould really spread the news.
What an idea. While they're at it, maybe they should put pictures of dead Libyan children, pics of the dead kids at Waco, pics of dead dogs and wounded people from errant BATF raids, etc., etc., on all federal buildings too - just so people are "aware" of the dangers that they - our government - provide as well. Since they want to keep people informed of hazards and all.
Outside of that I think it's stupid. Everyone is well aware of the dangers of smoking.

LOL i think that its a great idea. Nothing like a cold hard reminder everytime you pick the pack up. Smokers cause taxpayers to pay much more money in the long run with the added cost of healthcare.
Are the pics really gonna help? I doubt it.
