OSU barely beat A&M too.
LOL, true. I admit Im a shill for the big12
OSU barely beat A&M too.
We will never know until we see it happen. The SEC is untested imho. Alabam had their shot AT HOME. They lost. So what it Bama and LSU play again, LSU loses, how is it fair that LSU will wont get a another shot then at Bama?
We need more big conferences playing each other during the season.
LSU's only good win is Oregon.
OSU must lose to LSU for me to just concede dominance to SEC when to me they havent played as many top teams as the big 12.
The system as it is now is inherently unfair. If OSU played LSU and won, they would both have one loss, so why would OSU automatically be Nat. Champs then? The BCS is a crock, but until people stop bitching about it and start protesting with their wallets and not their mouths its the only system there is.
You nor I can control the teams' schedule. I agree with you 100%. But it is counter productive with this stupid BCS to play too tough of a schedule. Thats why every year some lowly team skates through the season and then wants to play in a BCS bowl.
What? Are you serious? You do realize that LSU is the only team to EVER, read again EVER beat 3 teams ranked in the top 3 in the same season. But yeah, they havent played anyone. Lol.
You dont have to concede it to make it a fact. The SEC has won the last 5 National Championships. After this year, it will be 6. The SEC is the most dominant and best conference in the Nation currently. With only a week left in the season they had the #1, #2 and #3 ranked teams in the Nation. So the voters and computers say theyre the most dominant, add that to their dominance over the last half decade, and yeah not really any reason for you to "concede" it....
That's probably part of it. And the fact that Texas isn't any good any more. And the fact that teams are bailing for other conferences. And the fact that Baylor is actually fairly good and their reputation follows them making the whole conference look worse than reality. But mostly it's because LSU is just flat good. They were literally asleep for the whole 1st half today and they still killed Georgia (a ranked team) in the SEC championship game. Alabama would be in their place if they only had a kicker.Been watching various post game shows, why do the analysts seem so sure that the SEC is so much better than the Big XII and OSU should not be given a chance? I'm not knocking OU here, I don't want to see a state team loose a National Title, but could it be because of OU's performances in the past NT games that were not good?
If you compare schedules, I dont see how OSU "deserves" it more. Both have one loss. OSU came to an unranked team they were favored to beat by 4 plus touchdowns. Alabama lost to a team ranked number 1 who also beat 3 top 5 teams throughout the season. So exactly what FACTS or STATS are you using that leads you to believe OSU "deserves" it?
